2019 Xmas 5K Handicap

The 5K handicap race takes place on Sunday 22nd December from the Men's Shed (Green Hut).

The race starts at the Cowie Bridge, loops round Cowie then back along the Beach Promenade, round Backies car park and returns aong the Promenade and back round Cowie to finish back at the bridge.

Runners are set off at intervals based on their expected time to complete the 5k distance, as noted on the entry form. Those estimating the longest time start first and subsequently at minute intervals with fastest estimated runners going last. In an ideal situation everyone will finish very closely together.

The Entry fee:

Club member affiliated to ARC or UK Athletics £2.00

Non-affiliate £4.00

Registration from 10am, entries on the day only.

Race starts 11am after a short briefing.

Cash or Cheque made payable to Stonehaven Running Club

Prizes to 1st three finishers across the line.
